While coronavirus spreads rapidly; Wuhan based researchers are collaborating with multiple parties. Now, Chinese researchers used unmanned aerial vehicles. While they’re named as drones; they’ve contributed by allowing the behavioral examination of individuals.
Also, drones can be used for different COVID-19 solutions. Authorities used drones to track interpersonal communication, disinfecting risky locations, providing emergency supplies and measuring body temperature.
How drones are used to fight COVID-19?
Drones have warned violators with sound and deterred them from doing any harm. They also gave information about the disease.
Even more, drones provided emergency medical supplies faster. And, those unmanned aerial vehicles carry 6 kg of load. Moreover, they’ve disinfected with 16 liters of disinfectants to a 100.000 sqmt. area.
Furthermore, drones identified risk groups and people with fever by attaching infared cameras. Now, the risk of getting an infection decreased.
Before the use of drones in healthcare, they’ve been used at Zanzibar and Tazmania to prevent mosqitoes from reproducing with spraying chemicals on various locations.
