A recent study at the University of Texas found that keeping smartphones too close soon reduced mental ability.
Research was done as follows; Participants were asked to undergo some tests. The participants had to have full concentration to get high scores.
The tests measured the ability of the brain to hold and process data at a given time. Participants were asked to put them in their pockets, bags or in another room.
What about the results of the research? Are smartphones really making us foolish?
As a result of the research, it was seen that the participants who put their smartphones in another room performed better than the ones who put their smartphones on the table. This group also performed better than those who put their smartphones in their pockets or bags.
