Create a personal Facebook account to share your pictures, videos, blog posts, stories, and anything else about your daily life.
Set up your Facebook account following these simple steps:
- Go to facebook.com
- Enter your Name, email, password, age, gender, birthdate.
- Hit create an account (For ages 14 and above only)
- Then confirm your email address and cellphone number
- Once you finish setting up the account, click in Facebook Sign in to add more information to your profile.
Optimize Your Facebook Profile
- First, To sign intoFacebook, go to facebook.com, and on the right, enter your Facebook sign-in email and password.
- If you are active on Facebook, you want to keep your family and friends updated on your interests, hobbies, activities, and much more.
- To optimize your profile, login to Facebook, hit on your profile name on the top left to find your profile. Click on the camera icon to add a profile picture. You can also add a cover photo to make your profile stand out.
- Then click on Edit Profile and add a Bio, your contact details, and your city, relationship status, and hobbies. Keep your friends updated on your interests.
You can also choose what other people can view. To determine who can view your videos, follow these steps:
- On the top right-hand corner, click on the arrow, and click Settings & Privacy.
- Click on Settings.
- Click on Profile & Tagging
- Here you can edit your preferences on who can view and share your posts and tag you. Just click on edits and choose one of the options listed; it can be either your friends or only me.
Generally, we recommend that you share all your pictures with your friends, so they don’t miss anything important.
