Often these myths are about how you should use a technological tool, whatever you do it will work better, or whatever happens will break. Many of these are old information from hearsay, wrong ideas, or devices that do not have modern technology.  A group of researchers wanted to find out how technology myths are in today’s world and how many people still believe them. Which Is The Most Believed Technology Myth?

The most widely believed technology myth is the false knowledge that a better photo can be obtained with a high megapixel digital camera. Almost 86 percent of people continue to believe this myth. However, let’s share right away that this idea is a myth.

Will Charging Overnight Damage The Battery?

Among the most believed technology myths; There is an opinion that leaving the phone to charge overnight will somehow damage the phone’s battery. 52 percent of people still continue to believe this. Although this myth is not true but it is a fact that leaving the phone on charge all night may pose other risks.

Moreover, battery myths are not limited to this. For example, 17 percent of people don’t charge their phones until their batteries are completely dead. Also, some have even tried to freeze their phone to extend its charging life.

Do X-Ray Devices Affect Memory?

According to the survey, 31 percent of people think that their phone or laptop memory may be damaged when passing X-ray devices at the airport. X-ray devices were able to burn these films and destroy everything in their memory in the period when analog cameras were used. You don’t have to worry about this myth that has settled in people’s minds from these times. Because X-ray devices do not affect hard drives. Unless you put your hard drive in an MRI device, you are unlikely to have a problem.

Macs Will Never Get A Computer Virus

Those who believe that Macs will never get a computer virus, those who think it is essential to shut down computers at night.
